There is no question that we are now living in a period of enormous innovation. With continually developing technology, it should come as no shock to anyone that each aspect of our lives is getting more and more reliant on progressively complex gadgets.

No one can say that these innovations gadgets have not improved our lives but we often disregard the negative parts of living in such a computerized world.
Living in a digital world surrounds us and can be seen in everything from power to worldwide interchanges. Our cars and phones have guidance software to guarantee we don’t get lost. We can pay our bills at the touch of a button on our phones, which have morphed into small PCs in our pockets. We can now speak with anybody at any place on the planet whenever we want by voice or video meeting but these developments have one objective and that is to make our lives less demanding.

However, is all of this digital technology destroying lives instead of bettering them? Well, that is a debate that will no doubt rage for eons to come as we get more technologically advanced.

This creates a bit of a conundrum. The world we have created for better or worse is a world that relies on technology: digital technology. So, if you are on the side of ‘technology has made my life worse’, then all you have to rely on to make your life any better is…. more technology!

The problem is not the technology itself, but our individual reliance on it in our everyday lives. There are people who cannot go an hour without checking their messages on their phones or their emails. There are people who will sit in a restaurant across the table from their family or partner and spend most of their time on their portable device. There are people who don’t know what to do with themselves when their internet goes down or heaven forbid the power goes out! Some people carry around more than one cell phone, their laptops, and tablets wherever they go. They surround themselves with all of these gadgets but don’t realize they are becoming slaves to the digital era. However, one of the answers could simply be, more technology. One day, someone will combine all of our electronic gadgets into one device, be it an implant or a small hand held unit. Of course, the ultimate answer is to switch it all off altogether, but let’s face it, for most of us, that is like asking not to eat or drink ever again.

With all of this in mind, the purpose of this site is to keep you up to date with all of the new digital innovations that are happening from all corners of the globe. One day and I dare say it’s not far away, we can free ourselves of this heavy reliance on digital gadgets and have just one, easy to use device that will combine everything we use daily into one small unit.
